This notice covers the BY LIS website. For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, contact BY LIS on WhatsApp.

Booking information

The booking form asks for your name, WhatsApp number, services, preferred date and time, and optional wig details and notes. Before checkout these remain in the current page. Starting secure checkout saves the booking and associated deposit records to the dedicated booking database so the business can manage the appointment and reconcile payments.

Payments

iKhokha handles payment details on its hosted checkout. BY LIS stores the booking total, deposit, outstanding balance, payment references, status and verification timestamps. This website does not collect or store card numbers or card security codes. Payment and booking audit records may need to be retained for accounting, dispute resolution and applicable legal obligations; contact BY LIS about retention or deletion.

Service providers

Supabase provides protected database storage and owner authentication when configured. The hosting provider processes technical request information to operate the site. iKhokha processes payment information under its own terms. These providers may process data outside South Africa. Follow their privacy notices when using their services.

WhatsApp

Choosing to continue to WhatsApp passes the displayed booking summary into a pre-filled message. You must press Send to deliver it. WhatsApp applies its own privacy terms. Contact BY LIS about messages and records kept outside this website.

Owner account and access

The owner account uses an email address, protected password credentials and essential session cookies. The application does not store plaintext passwords. Booking and payment records are restricted to authorised server operations and the owner. Public availability does not expose customer records.

Cookies

Essential cookies support owner login and secure access to a customer's checkout result. No advertising or analytics tracking is installed. Read the cookie notice.

Your choices

Provide only the information needed for your appointment. Do not include identity documents, card details or sensitive personal information in notes. You may request access, correction or deletion, subject to verification and applicable retention requirements. You may also raise a concern with South Africa’s Information Regulator.
